I am Michele Carringer and I am running to be your next State Representative for District 16.  As a life-long Knoxville native, I truly believe that this is the best place to live, work, and raise a family.  I have served Knox County for the last four years serving on the Knox County Commission where I've put focus into:

I have spent my life being a passionate and principled voice for Knox County. Together, we voted to keep taxes low, fully fund the school budget and created the Knox County Employee Insurance Committee.​ Together, we can take this same conservative approach to Nashville and we can build on the incredible legacy of my friend, Representative Bill Dunn.
